We're seeking a Senior Homologation/Certification Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to our Head of Homologation, you will be part of a small, motivated team leading certification and compliance activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements, interpretations, and certification testing are met across Forseven's vehicle programs in global markets, including Europe, North America, Gulf States, and China.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our offices near Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside visionary minds in the automotive field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership to the team on regulatory matters, both technical and administrative.
  • Lead the legislative requirements for programs and ensure these are clearly communicated and understood by relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with regulatory bodies and type approval authorities, keeping pace with changes that will challenge the business and its vehicle programs.
  • Represent the business on external working groups and committees, promoting the business's interests.
  • Collate and disseminate regulatory requirements, regulatory changes, and industry best practices in line with product strategy and the product definition.
  • Support the business in understanding and interpreting regulations that relate to vehicles, systems, and components.
  • Develop processes and procedures to support the delivery of type approval within their subject expertise.
Requirements
  • Experience in vehicle certification, legislation, design, or testing.
  • Experience in an appropriate technical position within the motor vehicle industry.
  • Diligent and detail-focused.
  • Strong communicator and empathetic.
  • Agile and energized working in a start-up environment.
