EMEA and APAC Payroll Specialist

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced International Payroll Manager to join our team at BRG (UK) Limited. The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing UK and EMEA payroll, with a minimum of some experience managing APAC payroll.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday or similar enterprise software and excellent communication, exceptional customer service and project management skills. They must be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing EMEA and APAC payrolls, ensuring accuracy and completeness. You will partner closely with the payroll team and payroll vendors to manage the payroll for 11 countries. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Payroll processing for all countries, delivering payroll within agreed SLAs, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with legislation, internal policy, processes and controls.
- Facilitating all required month-to-month payroll changes, including new hires, leavers, statutory leaves, unpaid leave, compensation adjustments, bonuses, benefit elections and deductions etc.
- Implementing processes to ensure payroll integrity through audit reports, data analysis and collaboration with other team members.
- Investigating, reconciling and correcting payroll data issues, discrepancies, and errors.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for all employee payroll queries.
- Supporting the payroll, employee tax and pension setup of any new jurisdictions, collaborating with external vendor(s) and the internal project teams.
- Preparing on-demand payments for terminations, retro-adjustments and other disbursements determined to be necessary for immediate distribution.
- Developing, managing and maintaining comprehensive payroll records and team member information in a confidential manner.
- Cordinating payroll funding requests with Treasury.
Additional Responsibilities:
You will also be responsible for supporting good practice automations and process improvements, reconciling general ledger with regard to payroll transactions, preparing payroll journal entries including PTO accrual, liaising between payroll and other departments, assisting with documentation of various payroll processes and procedures, and providing payroll support for internal and external audit requests.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
