Job Title: Part Time Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Covering sickness and absences in schools
  • Teaching all pupils in your class according to the National curriculum
  • Targeting and adapting lessons to meet the specific needs of each child
  • Completing records and assessments as determined by the school's policy
  • Making use of ICT to enhance understanding of tasks and lessons
  • Organising resources for the subject/area
  • Involve pupils in self and peer assessment
  • Using a variety of teaching and learning styles to ensure high standards of learning, behaviour and progress
  • Create and build appropriate teacher – parent relationships
  • Prepare pupils for the next academic year
  • Liaise with other teachers regarding pupil information and needs
  • Operate within the set policies of the school

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience in a variety of age groups
  • A good understanding of the curriculum and behavioural management techniques
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Compassionate and IT competent
  • Presentable and professional
