Job Title: Part Time Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of teaching and a passion for working with students of varying age groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Covering sickness and teaching all pupils in the class according to the National curriculum.
  • Targeting and adapting lessons to meet the specific needs of each child.
  • Completing records and assessments as determined by the school's policy.
  • Making use of ICT to enhance understanding of tasks and lessons.
  • Organising resources for the subject/area so that they are accessible, orderly, well labelled and appropriate.
  • Involve pupils in self and peer assessment.
  • Using a variety of teaching and learning styles to ensure and maintain high standards of learning, behaviour and progress in the class.
  • Create and build appropriate teacher – parent relationships.
  • Prepare pupils for going into next academic year.
  • Liase with other teachers regarding pupil information and needs.
  • Always operate within the set policies of the school.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teaching status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience in a variety of age groups.
  • A good understanding of the curriculum and behavioural management techniques.
  • Reliable.
  • Punctual.
  • Compassionate.
  • IT competent.
  • Presentable and professional.
