Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on lifts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and resolve issues with lift systems, including repairs and replacements.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely repairs.
  • Install and commission new lifts, including lift wells and lifting gear.
  • Provide training and demonstrations to clients on new equipment.
  • Refurbish and upgrade lift interiors, including flooring, panel displays, and communication systems.
  • Update and maintain accurate records of work completed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Produce risk assessments and other necessary documentation.
  • Manage vehicle responsibilities, including maintenance and administration.

Key Skills and Knowledge:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (lift servicing).
  • Ability to repair and maintain complex machinery.
  • Knowledge of building and construction principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and tools.
  • Understanding of public safety and security protocols.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
