About the Role

The Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team as a Trauma Responsive Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique, all-age, psychology-led service that provides psychosocial and trauma-responsive care to individuals and families affected by trauma.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional interpersonal skills, trauma-responsive approaches, and a willingness to both embrace and promote change. You will have the opportunity to work within a supportive team and make a key contribution to an innovative service that is leading the way nationally in delivering all-age, family-focused care.

The successful candidate will have evidence of current professional registration and continued professional development, as well as experience of working as a senior clinician in clinical settings that meet the core competencies of the post.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide trauma-responsive care to individuals and families affected by trauma
  • Develop and implement trauma-informed approaches to care
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of trauma-responsive policies and procedures
