We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claim Handler to join our team at SPE Travelers Management, LTD. As a Claim Handler, you will play a critical role in handling property claims and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and apply policy coverage accurately to all assigned claims.
- Investigate assigned claims to determine the extent of damage or loss.
- Negotiate and settle claims proactively in accordance with company guidelines and best practices.
- Reserve claims accurately in accordance with company guidelines and best practices.
- Ensure that company service standards are upheld.
- Maintain data accuracy and ensure that all relevant information is up-to-date.
- Instruct, liaise with, and manage external vendors to ensure that required technical and service standards are met.
- Authorize claim payments and reserves within agreed claims handling authority.
- Provide technical advice and support to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Work as a team member to provide support and assistance as required.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
- Some prior insurance-related activity experience (e.g. paralegal, insurance operations, insurance broker).
- Intermediate communication skills.
- Intermediate business perspective.
- Intermediate ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Intermediate openness to influence, flexibility.
- Demonstrates intermediate accountability and credibility.

- Private Medical Insurance: On commencement of employment, you are eligible for single cover provided by Travelers, with the option to add cover for your dependents, at your expense through payroll deduction.
- Retirement: Travelers will make a core contribution of a percentage of salary to your Pension Plan. Additionally, if you decide to contribute to the plan, you will receive an increased company contribution.
