We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ophthalmic Screening Assistant to join our team at InHealth Group in Coventry. As a Trainee Health Screener, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of diabetic eye screening services. Your key responsibilities will include:

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensuring patients feel welcome and comfortable throughout the screening process.
  • Undertaking the screening checklist to ensure a safe environment for both yourself and your patients.
  • Maintaining camera equipment and ensuring optimal image quality.
  • Administering eye drops and taking photographs while maintaining a correct field of view.
  • Identifying patients requiring urgent onward referral during screening appointments.
  • Maintaining adequate consumable stock levels for each clinic.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be adaptable, and able to think on their feet. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for travel to and from clinics is also essential.
