About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Health Care Support Worker to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Health Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and spend therapeutic time with allocated service users, promoting their recovery and well-being.
- Deliver high-quality, outcome-measured care and evidence-based interventions to support service users' health and well-being.
- Assist Registered Professionals in implementing and evaluating individualized care plans, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Regularly report and communicate service users' health status and care aims to Registered Professional Staff members and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care with demonstrable evidence of numeracy and literacy skills (equivalent GCSEs or Functional Skills)
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience as outlined below
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of working as part of a team and delivering a customer-focused service
- Experience of working with people with mental health needs as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience of being a service user or carer
