Mobility Equipment Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mobility Equipment Specialist to join our team as a Field Service Engineer in the Cannock area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

">The Role: As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient mobility and handling equipment remains safe, reliable, and in top working conditions. This is a field-based role where you will be servicing and repairing a wide range of mobility equipment, including patient hoists, profiling beds, wheelchairs, and bathing aids, among others.
">- Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing of patient handling and mobility equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults on a variety of equipment, including performing electrical diagnosis and mechanical repairs.
- Carry out LOLER testing and inspections, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients and ensuring any issues are resolved swiftly and professionally.
Key Skills and Qualifications: A thorough understanding of LOLER regulations and previous testing experience is preferred. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a customer-first approach to service. Full UK driving license with a clean record - this is essential as the role involves traveling across the North West region.
