We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team near Cannock. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining site machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure equipment efficiency.
  2. Perform routine maintenance and respond to equipment faults in a timely manner.
  3. Identify root causes of breakdowns and perform necessary repairs on various equipment.
  4. Handle emergencies and unplanned issues, minimizing downtime.
  5. Install new parts and ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
  6. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless operations.
  7. Manage maintenance tools, equipment, and stores, monitoring maintenance costs.
  8. Ensure continuous machinery and equipment cover in case of breakdowns.
  9. Manage supply stocks and oversee waste disposal processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
  1. Ability to diagnose and solve complex machinery issues effectively.
  2. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings, single and three-phase systems, and machinery operations.
  3. Proficiency in using manual machinery to produce custom parts for equipment improvements.
  4. A deep foundation in mechanical engineering coupled with strong electrical skills.
  5. A solid track record in factory maintenance is essential.
Qualifications:

18th edition is preferred.
