Area Sales Manager

We are seeking a driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at Mercury Hampton Ltd. This is a great opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing company within the industrial door sector.

Role Overview:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a comprehensive portfolio of industrial doors throughout the South of England. You'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies to achieve targets.
  3. Provide expert product knowledge and advice to customers, conducting site visits to present and survey.
  4. Communicate effectively across various channels, including phone, face-to-face, email, and social media.
  5. Report all activities, particularly on CRM systems.
  6. Provide field intelligence and marketing material for planning purposes.
Requirements:
  1. Proven track record in industrial sales, preferably in the Doors or Shutters industry.
  2. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales.
  3. Experience in B2B sales.
  4. Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
