We are a leading children's hospice in North London, seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Children's Nurse to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment that prioritises the well-being of seriously unwell children and their families.

Job Summary:
  • Lead a team of nurses in providing high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with families
  • Administer medications and maintain nutritional status
  • Offer training and development opportunities to staff
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide direct line management support to Band 5 Nurses and Specialist Carers
  2. Deliver patient care in the hospice, children's homes, or community settings
  3. Plan and review care in collaboration with families to ensure safety and advocacy
  4. Ensure sensitivity and compassion are integral to the care provided
  5. Administer medications and maintain nutritional status
  6. Offer training and development opportunities to staff and family members
Requirements:
  • Registration as a Sick Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse (Child Branch)
  • Relevant post-qualification experience at Band 5 level
  • Experience in nursing children with life-limiting conditions
  • A positive attitude, flexibility, and commitment to our values of kindness, excellence, and courage
