- Assist and support the Clinical Manager in the management of the service, ensuring seamless care and communication with the multidisciplinary team and external organizations.
- Act as a role model, presenting a positive image of self, the team, and the organization, and promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.
- Be responsible for the delivery and coordination of care, making optimal use of operating sessions and identifying potential bottlenecks to facilitate smooth patient flow through the department.
- Set, monitor, and maintain standards of care to improve the patient experience and outcome of care, and promote the provision of patient education and health promotion.
- Proactively manage risk and maintain patient safety, conforming to health, safety, and security legislation, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Promote equality in care and practice by recognizing, respecting, and meeting the needs and choices of individuals, and ensuring an environment of care that is safe, well-equipped, and compliant with standards for hygiene and cleanliness.
- Participate in education and training of junior staff, encouraging professional growth and development, and maintain and develop own professional competence and seek to extend the scope of personal knowledge and skills within the scope of role and professional practice.
Requirements:
