Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our IT department and drive innovation across the business. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and regular upgrades of all IT hardware and software, as well as driving IT projects to ensure their successful and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the IT department and oversee the maintenance and regular upgrades of all IT hardware and software.
  2. Drive IT projects across the business, ensuring their successful and timely completion.
  3. Stay ahead of emerging technologies and present innovative solutions to improve business performance to the board of directors.
  4. Be hands-on when necessary, supporting the team with tasks such as IT installations at new sites.
  5. Communicate effectively with the board, presenting project updates and sharing strategic insights.
  6. Ensure IT issues are addressed promptly, escalated where necessary, and communicated effectively across the business.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage IT teams and projects.
  3. Proficiency in key IT areas such as:
    1. Office 365
    2. Sage
    3. CRM & ERP systems
    4. MS SQL, T-SQL, SSRS, VM Ware
    5. Cybersecurity (firewalls, VPNs, DNS)
    6. Network infrastructure
    7. Traditional telephony systems
