Salary:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive daily rate of pay, ranging from £85-£100 per day, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Job Description:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children aged 0-5 years old. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality care and education that promotes holistic development
  • Planning and implementing engaging, play-based learning experiences that meet the needs of individual children
  • Fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages social skills development and positive behaviour management techniques
  • Observing and assessing children's progress, providing feedback and reporting to parents and senior staff
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create individualized learning plans for children with additional needs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • Experience working in an early years setting, preferably within a school environment
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
