The Role
We are seeking a Front of House Officer/Security Operative to ensure a safe and secure environment throughout our buildings, contents, staff, students, and other users. This role involves working on a weekly shift roster, including morning, day, and late shifts, covering three buildings within a few minutes of each other.
As a Front of House Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, covering reception, and patrolling the campus. You will need to have a valid SIA Door Supervision licence and experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for all users
- Provide excellent customer service and support
- Work on a weekly shift roster, including morning, day, and late shifts
- Cover reception and patrol the campus
- Have a valid SIA Door Supervision licence
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Requirements
- A valid SIA Door Supervision licence
- Experience of working to assignment instructions
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Good attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple priorities
- An ability to build effective working relationships with a variety of people at all levels
- Good problem-solving skills
- A dynamic approach, embracing change and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and working practices
Working Arrangements
This role requires working from any of the Ravensbourne buildings on a weekly shift roster basis, covering Monday to Saturday 7am-11pm. We welcome applications from suitably qualified people from all sections of the community in our desire to reflect the diversity of the community we serve.
