About TAG Community Radio:

As a Volunteer Social Media Manager at TAG Community Radio, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance the visibility and engagement of our radio station across various social media platforms.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing and monitoring social media accounts, fostering community interaction, and promoting programs and events through social media channels. You will also track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

This is a volunteer position, requiring a minimum commitment of 5-10 hours per week. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for community engagement and digital media, who can contribute to the success of TAG Community Radio.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Social Media Strategy Development: Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with TAG Community Radio's goals to increase awareness, engagement, and listenership.
  2. Content Creation: Create engaging and relevant content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, to share the mission, programs, and events of TAG Community Radio.
  3. Platform Management: Manage and monitor social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, ensuring consistent and timely updates.
  4. Community Engagement: Foster community interaction by responding to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms. Encourage discussions, feedback, and participation.
  5. Promotion of Programs and Events: Collaborate with the programming team to promote radio programs, events, and initiatives through social media channels.
  6. Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Skills Required:
