Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our Domiciliary Care team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication administration and other healthcare-related tasks
  • Accompany clients to appointments and engage in activities that promote social interaction and community involvement
  • Perform light housework and domestic tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment
  • Encourage clients to engage in activities that promote fluid intake and nutrition
  • Support clients with administrative tasks, such as managing finances and correspondence
  • Safeguard vulnerable adults and report any concerns to the relevant authorities

Requirements

  • Previous experience in care or a related field (training and support provided)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Enhanced DBS/PVG check and right to work in the UK
