Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team in Plymouth. As a Care Support Specialist, you will work with our clients to provide personalized care and support, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their own homes, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and mobility support.
  • Assist clients with light housework, meal preparation, and other domestic tasks.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events, promoting their social interaction and community engagement.
  • Support clients with administrative tasks, such as managing finances and correspondence.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the care team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in care or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Enhanced DBS/PVG clearance.
