About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our Medicines Optimisation Team at Haxby Group in Hull.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and flexible individual to contribute to the development of innovative solutions in patient care.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical pharmacy practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Job Description

As a Senior Clinical Pharmacist, you will:

  • Act within your professional boundaries to provide visible leadership and operational management to the Medicines Optimisation Team.
  • Assist with the training and performance management of the Medicines Optimisation Team.
  • Provide clinical advice and guidance on medicines-related queries and issues to the wider practice team and patients.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Mandatory registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • A Masters degree (MSc) in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • In-depth therapeutic and clinical knowledge and an understanding of evidence-based healthcare practices.
  • An excellent standard of written and verbal English.
  • Numerate skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good administrative and organisational skills.
  • IT literate.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Understanding of business rationale.
Benefits
