Join us as a Graduate Associate Project Manager at National Grid, where you'll be part of a pioneering team driving the shift towards a more sustainable energy landscape. With 17 key projects underway, you'll contribute to linking clean, low-carbon power sources to the transmission network in England and Wales.
We're committed to achieving the UK Government's 50GW offshore wind target by 2030, and we need talented individuals like you to help us succeed. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with our Engineering, Procurement, and Commercial teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently, meeting project timelines, quality standards, and budget requirements.
Your responsibilities will include developing commercial, contractual, and financial management skills, as well as supporting Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with our policies, specifications, and procedures. You'll also be responsible for monitoring contractors' activities on site to guarantee adherence to safety, health, and sustainability standards, as well as environmental legislation.
Through our 18-month graduate programme, you'll benefit from a structured development pathway that includes in-person and virtual training sessions, one-on-one coaching, and mentorship. You'll also have the opportunity to rotate through three six-month placements across the UK, enhancing your expertise and knowledge of our business.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary of approximately £44,000 per year, plus a range of benefits, such as a £14,000 bonus, 26 days' holiday, £6,000 payment on successful completion of the programme, and up to £1,400 per month accommodation allowance.
