About the Role:
This is a permanent role requiring a seasoned professional with experience as a Contracts Manager in the civil engineering sector. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering processes and practices, excellent project management and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management: Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Liaising with Stakeholders: Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Contract Negotiations: Handle contract negotiations and variations.
- Health and Safety: Implement health and safety policies and procedures on-site.
Desirable Experience and Skills:
- Civil Engineering Expertise: Strong understanding of civil engineering processes and practices.
- Project Management: Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication: Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Health and Safety Certifications: SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS certifications are desirable.
Salary and Benefits:
