Bury St, Suffolk, United Kingdom National Grid Full time

Becoming a Graduate Associate Project Manager at National Grid means being part of a dynamic team driving the transformation towards a greener future. With 17 major projects under way, you'll contribute to connecting more clean, low-carbon power to the transmission network in England and Wales.

Our goal is ambitious: achieving the UK Government's 50GW offshore wind target by 2030. To make it happen, you'll collaborate with our Engineering, Procurement, and Commercial teams to deliver projects efficiently and effectively. This will involve working closely with Project Managers to meet deadlines, quality standards, and budget targets.

In this role, you'll develop essential skills in commercial, contractual, and financial management. You'll also support Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with our policies, specifications, and procedures. On site, you'll oversee contractors' activities to guarantee adherence to safety, health, and sustainability standards, as well as environmental legislation.

As part of our 18-month graduate programme, you'll benefit from a tailored development pathway that combines in-person and virtual training sessions, one-on-one coaching, and mentorship. You'll also have the opportunity to rotate through three six-month placements across the UK, expanding your expertise and knowledge of our business.

Our compensation package includes a salary of approximately £42,000 per year, plus a range of benefits such as a £12,000 bonus, 26 days' holiday, £5,000 payment on successful completion of the programme, and up to £1,200 per month accommodation allowance.
