Bury St, Suffolk, United Kingdom National Grid Full time

At National Grid, we're shaping the future of energy. As a Graduate Associate Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering 17 major projects that connect clean, low-carbon power to the transmission network in England and Wales.

We're aiming high, with a goal of achieving the UK Government's 50GW offshore wind target by 2030. To get there, you'll work closely with our Engineering, Procurement, and Commercial teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery, supporting Project Managers to hit time, quality, and cost objectives.

You'll gain valuable experience in commercial, contractual, and financial management, as well as support Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with our policies, specifications, and procedures. On site, you'll monitor contractors' activities to guarantee adherence to safety, health, and sustainability standards, as well as environmental legislation.

This is an 18-month graduate programme with a tailored development pathway that will help you develop leadership, business, and technical skills. You'll participate in in-person and virtual development sessions, have access to one-on-one coaching, and be paired with a mentor. Throughout your journey, you'll rotate through three six-month placements across the UK, deepening your understanding of your speciality and broadening your knowledge of our business.

We offer a competitive salary of around £40,000 per year, plus a range of great benefits, including a £10,000 bonus, 26 days' holiday, £4,000 payment on successful completion of the programme, and up to £1,000 per month accommodation allowance.
