Job Title: Senior Risk Specialist

Mosaic Insurance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Risk and Compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's activities comply with all relevant regulations and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks, including risk registers, risk appetites, and risk policies.
  • Monitor and maintain the risk register, identifying and escalating high-priority issues.
  • Assist in the annual and ad-hoc Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process and draft reports.
  • Support the Head of Risk and Compliance in undertaking quarterly reviews of the risk profile.
  • Work closely with the Head of Risk & Compliance and Asta Compliance to ensure compliance with Lloyd's principles.
  • Point of contact for internal day-to-day compliance queries.
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of regulatory handbooks, rules, and guidance applicable to the insurance sector.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Confidence and willingness to pursue delivery to challenging timescales in a complex environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with other divisions within the group.
  • Good knowledge of Lloyd's and other regulatory requirements.
