We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Premier Engineering in Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of quality inspection processes, including experience in using manual inspection equipment and knowledge of CMM.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out 'first off' and final inspections, accurate measurement of product features, and improvement of inspection processes. A working knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 is essential, as well as basic computer skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

The salary for this position is £36,500 - £41,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including opportunities for career development and growth.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Conducting inspections to meet customer and internal requirements
  • Liaising with the shop floor on local product quality issues and systems
  • Ensuring no product non-conformity escapes to customers
  • Improving inspection processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
