About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our dementia support groups as a Volunteer Activity Coordinator.

Your key responsibilities will include coordinating and facilitating activities, welcoming people to the group, and keeping records of attendees.

As a key member of our team, you will provide vital support in setting up and tidying away after each group, as well as encouraging participants to engage with activities on offer.

Please note that this role will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal Records Check from the relevant authority.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and facilitate activities for people affected by dementia
  2. Welcome attendees to the group and maintain records of those attending
  3. Support with the set-up and tidying away after each group
  4. Encourage participants to engage with activities on offer
