Job Summary

The Divisional Manager will provide strategic leadership and management to the designated Directorate, ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical services and the achievement of divisional and trust objectives.

Working closely with the Divisional Management Team and other stakeholders, the successful candidate will promote effective governance, drive quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of strategic business plans.

Main Responsibilities

Develop and implement divisional strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce waiting times, and enhance service efficiency.

Lead the design and implementation of performance management reporting systems to support service improvement and governance.

Collaborate with operational and professional leaders to ensure the effective integration of services across the division.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Masters degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of senior management experience in a healthcare setting.

Desirable

  • Experience working in an acute teaching trust.
  • Project management qualification.
