Clinical Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peripatetic Clinical Development Nurse to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical governance team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of high-quality care and support services for older people in the UK.
Main Responsibilities- Support the performance of each care home, ensuring they meet the highest clinical standards.
- Review the clinical governance database and key performance indicators (KPIs) of each home monthly, analyze the results, and identify practical strategies to ensure all regulations are met and care quality is continuously improved.
- Work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff in each home to support the implementation of actions to address any issues and deliver clinical investigations as needed.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current NMC registration.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
- Experience in a care home environment.
- Confident clinical mentor, including with newly-qualified nurses.
