About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Bayman Atkinson and Smythe. As a key member of our business function, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage the month-end process, including posting payroll journals, reconciling accruals and prepayments, and identifying and correcting anomalies.
  • Reconcile and manage deferred income and accrued income on grants and restricted projects.
  • Produce standard management accounts packs for multiple clients.
  • Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and budgets.
  • Collaborate with budget-holders and attend regular meetings to support clients.
  • Work with organisational stakeholders to improve financial controls, systems, and processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organised, with a methodical approach and excellent communication skills. You will ideally be a studier (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified, with effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise important tasks. You will be dynamic and have a desire to learn and develop to take on further responsibilities in the future.
