We are seeking an Emissions Reduction Engineer to join our team at SRG. As an Emissions Reduction Engineer, you will play a critical role in reducing emissions from our Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs) and promoting sustainable practices.

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to reduce emissions from our ERFs and promote sustainable practices.
  • Collaborating with the ERF management team to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Liaising with third-party contractors for the delivery of the environmental monitoring programme and ensuring that environmental compliance is maintained and issues are resolved promptly.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in a science or engineering biased subject (environmental, chemistry, maths, engineering).
  • Understanding of regulations covering industrial processes, emissions, Industrial Emissions Directive, Environmental Permitting and Waste Management.

You will work in a results-driven environment with a positive and flexible approach to duties, able to use initiative, solve problems, and work to tight deadlines under pressure.
