Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team based in the central belt of Scotland, with a flexible mixture of home-working and office collaboration time expected. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical aspects of civil / structural engineering projects, supervising, developing, and mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical aspects of civil / structural engineering projects, from optioneering through to detailed design.
  • Supervise, develop, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Pricing works and preparing technical proposals.
  • Condition and Structural Assessment of existing structures to determine suitability for reuse.
  • Design Coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prepare specifications/scoping documents.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree (MEng/MSc) qualified Civil or Structural Engineer.
  • Chartered Engineer and a Member of ICE or IStructE is desirable.
  • Strong technical background, with experience of steel and reinforced concrete design using relevant UK and international codes/standards.
