Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Regional Planning Specialist to join our team at Hunter Dunning Limited. As a key member of our Planning department, you will play a crucial role in securing planning permissions for various projects, from unique bespoke developments to large-scale schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure planning permissions for projects across the region, working closely with the Planning team and local authorities.
- Conduct research on previous planning applications for sites, as necessary, to inform decision-making.
- Accurately record keeping for internal systems and local authority planning policies and plan reviews.
- Represent the business at planning and consultation meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally within the local region.
- Knowledge and experience in the planning processes and associated regulations.
- Planning or Surveying Degree or above, or equivalent.
