Development Engineer for Large-Scale Projects

WSP is seeking an experienced Development Engineer for Large-Scale Projects to join our Planning and Development business unit. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects such as HS2 Old Oak Common Station and Aston Villa, Birmingham.

As a Development Engineer, you will contribute to all types of Development projects across all sectors and clients, being active on several varied multi-disciplinary project/client accounts at any given time. You will also provide guidance and support to a team of experienced and developing technical staff of various grades.

The ideal candidate will have postgraduate (or equivalent) experience and be nearing Chartership or have equivalent commercial experience and responsibility. They will also have knowledge of current and emerging technical and planning guidance on climate change and sustainability.

We offer a competitive salary of £90,000 - £125,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and flexible working hours.
