Area Sales Development Manager

Quay Personnel is seeking an experienced Area Sales Development Manager to join their team in Liverpool. This role involves identifying, recruiting, and developing key customer accounts, delivering profitable turnover and utilizing the full range of engineering services.
The successful candidate will oversee relationships with strategic customers, understanding and meeting their requirements to promote our company's solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. They will also contribute to sustaining and growing our business for long-term success.
Key Accountabilities:- Develop trust-based relationships with a portfolio of clients to ensure they are recruited and developed.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- Expand relationships with new and existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet or exceed their objectives.
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
- Take the lead in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
- Proven experience as an Area Sales Engineer.
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
- Strong commercial and technical acumen.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The basic salary for this position is £45,000 per annum, plus a car allowance and an OTE (On-Target Earnings) of £55,000 - £60,000. The company offers a competitive benefits package, including...
