About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Positive Practice Worker at Newhouse, St Fagan's. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our service users receive high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all areas of the service have continual access to a member of staff who can provide guidance and support in adhering to person-centred plans.
  • Act as a guide and advisor for all staff, working to structured support plans and linking with established clinical teams.
  • Collect and monitor outcome data daily to ensure that our service users are receiving the best possible care.
  • Promote and uphold the privacy, rights, dignity, health, and wellbeing of our service users.
  • Contribute to general housekeeping duties, including shopping, domestic duties, and elements of personal care to support our service users.
Requirements
  • A strong interest in and commitment to the practice of clinical psychology as an applied science.
  • Awareness of current policy agendas relating to person-centred practice, values-based practice, and the need for services to continually focus on reducing restrictive interventions.
  • Previous experience in working in services for people with mental health and learning disability is desirable.
