About the Role:
This exciting opportunity will involve supporting the Institute of Advanced Study at Durham University in developing and evaluating training provision for interdisciplinary doctoral students. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality training materials and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and creation of training materials for interdisciplinary doctoral students
- Liaise with key stakeholders to gather input and feedback on content creation
- Assist in the facilitation of events, as required
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the training provision
- Contribute to the development of a summary report and present findings to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- A keen interest in developing exploratory and interdisciplinary encounters to support doctoral student development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Effective organisational, administrative and planning skills
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in platforms such as Canvas, Zoom, and Microsoft 365 software

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum (pro rata), dependent on experience.
