About the Role:

As a Service Advisor at Scania, you will be the key point of contact for our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships, creating job cards, and checking for existing parts and service WIPs and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create job cards, checking for existing parts and service WOPs and campaigns
• Clarify for the customer and workshop the basis for repair
• Check account detail and level of credit left, obtain authorisation and obtain order numbers from customers
• Inform customer of outstanding campaigns and arrange for work to be completed
• Ensure all MOT appointments are planned
• Meet and greet all customers on arrival in a professional and friendly manner
• Agree timescales for unscheduled work with customers and follow through to completion

Character:

• Ability to build rapport and positive relationships – Working with the customer to build professional relationships to ensure all customer requirements are scheduled in a timely manner.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at once – Manage tasks from the customer externally and internally within the workshop, ensuring all tasks are completed in the desired time frame.
• Forward thinker, using own initiative under pressure – Be able to overcome any obstacles that present themselves under pressure whilst ensuring the customer's needs are still met.
