Care Support Lead

About the RoleThe estimated salary for this role is £12.67 per hour. As a Senior Care and Support Assistant, you will be working closely with staff to provide personal care and support to customers, encouraging them to enhance their independence and personal potential. You will also lead a team of Care and Support Assistants and manage day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Leading a team of Care and Support Assistants to deliver high-quality care and support services
- Providing personal care and support to customers, promoting safe practices and undertaking risk assessments as appropriate
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any incidents or concerns to management
- Previous experience supervising a team
- Personalised approach to care and support, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form positive relationships with people from varied backgrounds
- Recent experience of working in a similar role with vulnerable people is essential
- NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards is desirable
