Early Years Leader

Join Ultimate Activity Camps as an Early Years Leader and play a vital role in delivering exceptional childcare experiences for our youngest campers.

About the Role

As an Early Years Leader, you will oversee the delivery of our Early Years programme, creating a fun and engaging environment that fosters learning and development. You will work closely with the Camp Manager to ensure the highest standards of childcare are maintained, and that all Ofsted requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high-quality Early Years programme that meets the needs of our 4- and 5-year-old campers.
  • Prepare and lead sports, arts, and crafts activities that promote participation, development, and enjoyment.
  • Direct and support a team of Early Years staff to ensure seamless childcare delivery.
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of our campers at all times, maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates and feedback.
  • Manage administrative tasks, such as sign-in/out and registration.
  • Work collaboratively with the Camp Manager to promote the welfare of our campers and maintain a positive camp environment.
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education, with significant experience working with 4- and 5-year-olds.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging activities and adapt to dynamic situations.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a passion for working with children.
  • Good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and its application in a camp setting.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with a proactive and conscientious approach.
