Job Overview

As a Mechnical Equipment Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and restoring hydraulic systems to guarantee optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

About the Role

You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors to meet quality and safety standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with other team members and supervisors to achieve repair goals and maintain a secure working environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Component Inspection and Repair: Diagnose, disassemble, inspect, and identify faulty components in hydraulic equipment.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test repaired components to ensure they function correctly and meet specifications.
  • Safety Protocols: Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance efficiency and safety, and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Experience and Skills: Proven experience in hydraulic component repair or a related mechanical field, strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, and proficient in component repair and assembly.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
  • Attention to Detail and Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision in repairs, and ability to accurately diagnose issues.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for personal and team safety.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
