**Job Summary**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Car Park Operations Coordinator to join our team at Buckinghamshire Council. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe management of traffic movements primarily during pupil arrival and departure times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To understand and adhere to School policy, procedures and risk assessments, with exceptional knowledge of that relating to health & safety and the School car parks
  • Safely operating gates (when in use) and signalling traffic to ensure effective traffic flow
  • Monitoring car parking spaces and vehicle movements while prioritizing the safety of those on foot, particularly young children
  • Managing pick-up zones and reporting necessary repairs and maintenance to the Facilities Manager
  • Fully adhering to Health and Safety procedures and escalating any issues promptly

About You:

We are looking for an individual with previous experience working in a similar role, preferably within a school setting. You should possess excellent communication skills, remain calm under pressure, and prioritize the safety of self and others. Your commitment to safeguarding is essential in maintaining a secure environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
