Key Responsibilities

  1. To work as part of a specialist multi-disciplinary team providing holistic assessment and intervention to children and young people with gender incongruence and their families.
  2. To develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external agencies.
  3. To contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines that promote best practice in the field of occupational therapy.
  4. To participate in research, audit, and service development projects to improve patient outcomes.
  5. To provide line management and leadership support to Occupational Therapists within our trust.

Requirements

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
  • Evidence of relevant postgraduate continuing professional development.
  • Further training in a related area, e.g., sensory integration therapy, ACT.
  • Registration with RCOT.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £53,755 - £60,504 per annum, depending on experience.
