Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Renal Specialist Dietitian to join our experienced and supportive team of renal dietitians at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide complex dietetic care to renal patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments.
  • Work closely with the renal multidisciplinary team, requiring excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Supervise and educate designated Band 5 staff, as well as contribute to the training of students.
  • Develop and implement high-quality nutritional care plans for patients with complex renal needs.

Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
  • NHS experience.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Degree in Dietetics.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Attendance on relevant accredited courses.
  • Demonstrated contribution to developing strategy and outcomes that have resulted in improvements.
  • Training and/or experience in Leadership and Development.
  • Demonstrated specialist clinical knowledge in renal dietetics.
  • Demonstrated experience of involvement in service development.
  • Ability to work independently, reliably, and consistently.
  • Professional attitude to routine and non-routine tasks.
