Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Renal Specialist Dietitian to join our experienced and supportive team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our renal multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality dietetic care to patients with complex renal needs in various settings.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide complex dietetic care to renal patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, including dialysis units.
  • Work closely with the renal multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Supervise and educate designated Band 5 staff and contribute to the training of students.
  • Participate in audit, research, and service development within the dietetic department and renal service.
About Us

Our department is a large and friendly team based on two sites, Cheltenham General Hospital and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. We have a diverse range of teams, including Acute Dietitians, Paediatric Dietitians, Home Enteral Feeding Team, and Specialist Gastroenterology Team, among others.

Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
  • NHS experience.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Degree in Dietetics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
