Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Renal Specialist Dietitian to join our team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our renal multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality dietetic care to patients with complex renal needs in various settings.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide complex dietetic care to renal patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, including dialysis units.
  • Work closely with the renal multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Supervise and educate designated Band 5 staff and contribute to the training of students.
  • Participate in audit, research, and service development within the dietetic department and renal service.

Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
  • NHS experience.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Degree in Dietetics.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Attendance on relevant accredited courses.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership and development.
  • Specialist clinical knowledge in renal dietetics.
  • Experience of effective working relationships within a team.
  • Prioritization of workloads.
  • Implementation of evidence-based practice.
