Job Title: Songwriter Partnership Lead

As a key member of the Songwriter & Publisher Partnerships team within the Music Team at Spotify, you will play a crucial role in developing, building, and maintaining Spotify's relationships with the songwriter and publishing industry globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to deepen Spotify's relationship with the songwriter community.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create industry-leading tools and opportunities for partners.
  • Provide business strategy, guidance, and insight to different areas of Spotify's publishing program.
  • Optimize existing product initiatives and support new areas of exploration in publishing.
  • Maintain and grow Spotify's partnerships with songwriters, publishers, and industry bodies.
Requirements:
  • Extensive network of contacts in the publishing & songwriting worlds with proven ability to build and maintain partnerships.
  • Deep knowledge of digital music and streaming, including key partners, business models, marketplace, competitors, and creative opportunities.
  • Understanding of music publishing, from creative development to digital music rights and copyright administration.
  • Experience working across different cultures and time zones.
  • Strong personal organization and project management skills with ability to deliver on tight deadlines.
