About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our team at Search. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and processing invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update accurate financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Process invoices, handle payments, and reconcile accounts.
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address accounts-related inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an accounts assistant role or similar position is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
