Financial Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our team at Search. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and processing invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Process invoices, handle payments, and reconcile accounts.
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address accounts-related inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
