Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to provide front-line administrative support in a Primary School. The successful candidate will act as the focal point for staff and visitors, providing a welcoming and efficient service.

The postholder will be responsible for financial and devolved school management issues, responding to changes in IT systems, and supervising and developing Clerical Assistants. They will also be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the school office.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of the Headteacher and Admin Co-ordinator. You will be required to have an HNC or equivalent educational qualification to SCQF level 7, in a relevant discipline.

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
